Ringnecked Pheasant Tail Feathers, European, Washed – per dozen

$8.00

The European Ringnecked pheasant was introduced into Europe from Asia by the ancient Greeks and Romans and may have reached Britain by the 11th century. Unsuccessful attempts to introduce it to America began as early as the 1730’s, but it wasn’t until the 1880’s, when several dozen birds from China were released in Oregon, that the species gained a foothold in North America. Our European Ringnecked Pheasant Tail Feathers are washed and come in mixed sizes [approximately 14″-24″].

Ringnecked Pheasant Wings – per pair

$6.00

While ringnecked pheasants are good short-distance fliers, they would rather run, but when startled they can suddenly burst upwards at great speeds, with a distinctive “whirring” wing sound. Their flight speed is only 27 to 38 mph when cruising but when chased they can fly up to 60 mph. The male pheasant wings are absolute gorgeous with shades of white, creme, taupe and burgundy.
